- If it doesn't, it will be catastrophic. In ten... Not even ten, but in 30 or 40 years things will be eight degrees hotter, and essentially none of the crops will grow. Most people will be dead and the rest will be cannibals. Civilization will disintegrate... To do nothing is suicide... We have to stop doing two suicidal things, namely, holding on to our nuclear weapons, and after that we have to stabilize the population.
- So what's wrong with the population?
- We have too many people. That's why we have global warming. We have global warming because too many people use too many things. If there were fewer people, they would use less stuff.
